As we work to process the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others, we want to take a stand and show our support for Black lives. USC DSP stands with Black Lives Matter. We reject racism, hatred, and bigotry. We strongly believe that monumental change is needed to address the oppression of Black people in our country. Now is the time to engage in conversation and strive for justice, compassion, and a culture of respect for all. On June 3rd at 1:00 PST, the Center for Black and Cultural Student Affairs will be hosting Speaking Out Loud: Enough is Enough. This forum will provide a safe space for Black students, Staff, Faculty, and Allies to decompress and engage in dialogue about Anti-Blackness and the many systemic issues that plague the Black community in America.
